Rules

Why do we create rules?

  1. To keep order in the world everyone would just run around all willy nilly doing whatever they please which would be completely ridiculous

    1. I depends. It did with the Jim Crow, but most rules don't dictate everything we do. We still have some freedom

    2. Yes rules can interfere with basic human rights, part of our government's job is to stop that from happening and not messing with our freedom. But some rules should interfere with freedom because if you had the freedom to do anything, we would have some major problems!

  9. Rules are created to prevent harm of people or property. Reasonable rules are created for the greater good of a community of people who agree to abide by those rules and accept the consequences if they don't.

  12. We create rules to make the world a better place for everyone and to make it fair too. Otherwise adults, adolescents, children, and toddlers would run astray and cause destruction. Without rules, crime would infest everything and nobody would pay for anything, they would steal.
