    2. Indeed, we've been watching it for like 2 months we should have figured out that multiple times in history peoples human rights have been ignored

    3. There was like 20 videos not just one. I guess the one thing we did right was the day we started the fight keep your eyes on the prize. Oh lord!

    1. Well, in a few states, gays can't even marry. I would say their rights are being ignored. That is so ridiculous just let them marry it's not going to hurt anyone.

  5. During the 1960's and the civil rights movement. As Tommy says, the video and most of our book is about the civil rights movement. Also as Daniel says during the holocaust the Jews' rights were ignored.

    1. Charlotte, you are so right. Can you mention one or two, specifically?

    2. The black peoples rights are ignored, because of segregationists. They are treated unequally, and are mistreated. Whites who were for the movement, were beaten, and often made fun of. Mr. Morgan was beaten up for being on the blacks side. Everyone was discriminated in this era of the 1960s.

  10. Human rights were ignored before Rosa Parks stood up for the right to public transportation. Before that, blacks weren't allowed to sit in the front of the bus, and they had to stand up when whites got on.

  11. Human rights have been ignored in countless ways through the course of history. Through segregation, the Holocaust, even the Revolutionary War, people were denied their rights countless times.

  12. In Rash, the USSA, the United Safer States of America, decides that it is better to be safe then free. They restrict freedom by keeping people overly safe.

    1. it seemed they like they took away rights that cause injury and stuff people do to be idiotic

    2. But at the same time, it restricts freedom to do what they want to do. You aren't able to run without football padding on! Most sports are illegal! Getting injured is a part of life, sadly, and then you become more careful and you learn from your mistakes

    1. I agree with Mattea! It's not like their marriage is going to harm anyone. They should be able to marry. Just because you don't agree with what another is doing, unless it is harming them or others, you should allow them to keep on doing it. It's their choice. Same sex marriage isn't going to hurt you or anyone else for that matter. All it means is there will be more married couples.

    2. Also just because some people think its wrong or gross gives them no right to control other peoples happiness haven't we learned from our history that it never ends well.

    3. Totally true, same sex marriage won't end up killing you so there is no reason to keep it illegal. Plus one of our basic rights is the pursuit of happiness, and if some people will be happy like that then they should be able to pursue what makes them happy

  14. During the civil rights movement, blacks were denied everything from equal education to equal water fountains. Luckily, an end has been put to that.

  15. They were ignored when the blacks marched the streets, begging for peace, but were met with angry violence.... They were ignored when slaves had to sweat and die for work they were forced to do without anything in return, without the guarantee of life... People were never met with equal rights, so people have been denied the right of life... a right everyone should have... But as we move forth so does everything.. the world is a cruel place.. where only the strong can survive! *END SCENE*

  16. In my book, Feed, when u r born america puts a 'feed' into your head. It is basically a computer than lets you text people with your mind, and other things. Unfortunately, people can advertise completely straight to your brain. Could you imagine having 24 hour commercials blaring in your mind nonstop? This totally ignores human rights. The right of mind penetration maybe?

  17. In the book rash, peoples rights were majorly ignored. They made you wear safety pads for everything. Everything was safety this and safety that. They outlawed football and french fries, I would hate to live there! wouldn't you?
